has been using PCs for some time and moved from an AM3 to an AM4 setup. After roughly seven hours, it still won’t boot properly, and the only thing that won’t plug in is one of his intake fans—otherwise fine. Someone can assist? Parts list includes a B450M PRO4 motherboard, Ryzen 5 2600X CPU, Deepcool cooler, Captain 240 AIO GPU, MSI RX 580, 8GB RAM, 750W Bronze PSU, and Corsair Vengeance RAM.
I tried to upload, everything seems connected and undamaged, but it still doesn’t go through.
I would check the official guides for the board: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M Pro4/index.asp#CPU. This is typical when assembling PCs. The Ryzen 5 3600X requires BIOS version 3.30 or newer. The Ryzen 5 2600X should function with any BIOS update. Based on this, the 2600X appears to be compatible across all BIOS versions. This seems solid and genuine hardware. It could also be new or possibly second-hand, but nothing suspicious detected. As for memory, I reviewed the QVL for Pinnacle Ridge (the 2600X is PR) and filtered to Corsair. Your DIMMs listed there match the supported options. Your RAM is either 2133 or 2666; no 2166 model was found.
