You’re facing an issue where the testbench won’t power down despite attempts to disconnect it. Since there’s no visible connection, consider unplugging the power supply. If it still doesn’t stop looping, check for any hidden connections or reset options.
That's fine to unplug. Unplugging doesn't damage your hardware (although older mechanical HDDs, it does have a potential to do so.) It's mainly the risk of corrupting a booted OS that is the issue, but if no OS is booted into then no problem.
