Problem Description: Everything functions properly when using an iGPU on my system (GPU not connected to the board). However, when I connect the GPU for display, the screen fails to turn on even though the fans spin. The iGPU also doesn't work when the GPU is installed on the board—only when it's not powered off. It seems a power supply issue might be involved, but the display remains unresponsive regardless of PSU changes (different brands). I haven't tried another GPU yet.
System Specs: OS – Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Build 19045.2364 (latest install), CPU – Intel Core i5 3550, Graphics Card – AMD Radeon 200 Series (R9 270), Motherboard – Intel DH61CR, RAM – RAMaxel DDR3 (1600MHz, 2x4GB), Storage – 60GB SSD (Boot) and 465GB HDD, BIOS – BEH6110H.86A.

Not starting up or just showing the balance screen? Keep in mind you have two graphics cards. Your integrated GPU is okay but it doesn’t perform well.
The computer starts up. The main problem is that whenever I power on the graphics card, neither the integrated GPU nor the dedicated card recognizes the screen. When I take the card off the motherboard (or just don’t power it), only the integrated GPU works. In either case, the graphics card’s fans begin spinning.
The system has been running for a decade since its release. It’s impressive how it has held up. If you can, check the GPU on another machine to determine its condition. The best advice is to ensure all drivers are installed and see if that helps. Possible causes range from hardware issues, incompatible components, faulty motherboard slots, insufficient BIOS support, or loose connections. In the end, fixing it might require spending more than a modern setup if you dig into the parts. If the iGraphics are functioning, stick with them at least. You could upgrade to a newer desktop tower with a better processor for less than $400 and replace the GPU. If the computer is active but not recognizing a GPU, the issue likely lies on the end of that chain. The following action is to check if a post code appears in the form of a beep, light, or digital display during the process. If not, the computer is still processing the post, indicating a GPU problem. Examine the cable to the GPU, its ports, the monitor, the GPU driver, or the PCIe slot. Placing the monitor cable into the motherboard port eliminates the GPU and its ports, swapping them with another configuration.

The system diagnosis confirmed the graphics card issue—tried with another GPU and it worked, but now it only shows a display when the card is connected. I think I’m stuck using an integrated GPU. Still, as long as the main problem is resolved, I’m fine. Thanks for the advice!
Even though it doesn't relate to the subject, I still own an Hp Elitebook 8440p in good working condition. The only thing is, the devices aren<|pad|>, they're fine.
