Hi there! A week back I attempted to power on my PC and realized it won’t start. I hadn’t used it for a day prior, yet a jigsaw was left plugged into the same outlet that day. Could this be related? Functionally: pressing the power button causes the GPU indicator to flash once and the PSU fan spins once before everything stops. I’ve tested various cables, sockets, and rooms, but the outcome remains consistent. Specifications include an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G CPU, 2x8GB DDR4 RAM, a Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 GPU, MSI GeForce GTX 1070, a SilentiumPC Vero L3 Bronze 700W PSU, and Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Storage options are Lexar NM620 M.2 256GB (boot) and an ADATA SU800 SATA SSD 120GB. I reached out to a repair service recently, hoping they might offer guidance. Yes, it’s a self-built system.

The PC powers up and remains active with internal indicators, but once running it goes into a steady state rather than a brief flash. The "nothing" refers to a lack of noticeable startup activity—no sudden blips or temporary lighting before settling into normal operation.

According to the description, it activates the GPU illumination, rotates the PSU fan once, and then stops.

The machine fails to start, displaying a black screen or shutting down entirely. The BIOS functionality appears non-responsive.

The situation remains unchanged, with only the dim light and the PSU fan operating. There are no sounds, and the monitor fails to power up—just an empty silence.

Lacks a replacement power supply unit and cannot obtain one. The device has functioned consistently for roughly six months.

Verify your nation's consumer protections. In Italy, for instance, the manufacturer's warranty lasts one year while the seller's covers two years.
