I put Disney + on my gaming PC today and began watching. Around 20 minutes in, it froze and I had to power off the machine using the case button before turning it back on. It repeated about 20 minutes later. I repeated the process and then my second monitor stopped showing properly, wasn’t detected, and any games or apps ran slowly with extremely low frame rates, making them unusable. I’m looking for advice on what to do next. My drivers are current and I even reinstalled the graphics driver.

What is the model and make of your power supply? You might need to open the top cover and check the label on the side for details.

CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET IS PERFECT. I recall having ample power from the specs. The PC is only a month old.

Agreed. There should be enough PSU resources available. Is your motherboard BIOS the latest version? Additionally, are your displays connected directly to your GPU or through the motherboard video ports?

My monitors are now connected to the motherboard, but they only display my background. I looked in the BIOS and see that I'm currently running
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. 1616, 16/05/2023
I suspect there might be an updated version, but I don't want to risk damaging my PC.
