I have a HP Omen 30L computer. About two weeks ago, after restarting my PC, the screen froze while loading. I made it work again by running a scan in diagnostics (everything passed). It worked fine as long as I didn't turn it off or restart it. I had an automatic update that restarted my PC, and now I'm having the freezing issue again. Update: The problem is fixed, though I don't know if it was updating Windows or fixing the registry. It's working normal now.

Can you turn on Safe Mode? I think your computer operating system might need a fresh start along with that setting. If so, backing up all important files right before the new operating system loads will work well for saving your mission-critical data.

I think about 80 to 90 percent is full. It's actually a 1 terabyte drive, and I only have roughly 100 gigabytes of space left.

How do I turn on safe mode? I tried looking at the startup menu and pressing F8, but nothing shows up. Just a quick screen flicker when I try it, then nothing else happens.
