My brother owns a computer, but when he powers it on the monitor remains blank, and neither the keyboard nor the mouse lights up. The power button only responds if he turns off the PSU at the back using the switch. He assumed his motherboard was defective, so he replaced it with a new one. After a few days, the same problem continues. Now he bought a new GPU because he installed his 980TI in my computer, and the issue repeated. He has tried various fixes—using a different PSU, re-seating all cables, reapplying the CPU, and changing RAMs—but still faces the same problem. He is unsure what’s causing it. If anyone knows more about the issue, it would be greatly appreciated!

What was the brand and model of the power supply unit you permitted him to use for the GPU? Sorry for any mix-up, but you should have shared your specifications with the build team before and after so we could identify what they were. If the PSU was used, how recent is it?
