Hi everyone, I just assembled a PC about a week ago.
My RX 6650 XT only powers up when I flip the 6+2 pin connector on the PCIe cable; otherwise, the system stays off and the GPU briefly lights up red. The 6+2 cable includes two of those connectors.
All other components work fine when I power it on, but the GPU remains unresponsive.

This refers to changing the placement of the 6+2 pin connector. You must insert it into the correct position for the computer to function properly.

It is always connected, but I switch it with the other 6+2 connector all the time.

I don't grasp the meaning of this sentence. It seems unclear, and I'm unsure about the specific details being referenced. Could you clarify or provide more context?

There are two 8 Pin connectors on the same cable. I'm replacing one each time, switching the other to the GPU.

When you need to start your computer, you usually disconnect the 8-pin and then connect a different one; otherwise, the GPU won't receive power. If you disconnect and then reconnect the same pin, what will happen?

I haven't tested it with the same connector after removing it. I might try again next time.
