Hello,
I initially wanted to check the stability of my RAM at 2800 MHz using memtest 64. It worked, so I proceeded to overclock the CPU. I adjusted the CPU multiplier to 3.7 and kept the voltage unchanged to test at the precision boost setting of 3.7. However, after saving and backing out, the CPU failed to boot and I can't access the BIOS. I understand I need to increase the voltage, but I'm stuck since I can't even reach the BIOS interface.
I'm hoping someone can assist me as I'm relatively new to this process.

specs:
cpu: ryzen 7 1700
gpu: r9 280x
mobo: msi b350 tomahawk
ram: g skill 4 series 3000mhz
psu: 550 evga g2
cooler: noctua nh d15s

Turn off the system and remove the CMOS battery while power is off. Wait approximately 5 minutes, then reinsert the battery and restart.

Phillip Corcoran :
Reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery (with power off) - - wait 5 mins then put it back & boot up.
I have done this and it hasnt worked. Anything else i can do

LOL - it didn't work but you still marked my answer as the best solution -
why
-
You only choose the best option if it solves your issue
- :/
I'm not sure about other alternatives, but this one seems to fit.
