Apex has been operating smoothly over the last three months. Occasionally there may be a brief pause, but it remains consistent. I’ve begun experiencing stuttering every 10 to 20 seconds, as shown in this Framtime chart. The game wasn’t behaving this way before, which is quite bothersome. I’ve followed all standard troubleshooting steps: installed Windows 11 on a new SSD, re-seated GPU, RAM, and SSD; changed ports for the keyboard and mouse; updated drivers, including some odd ones; adjusted power settings and game settings (all set to low); modified frame rate limits. My graphics card consistently reaches around 95% capacity very occasionally, while the CPU never spikes in the graphs. There are no other unusual symptoms—my Steam game is capped at 205 FPS using this setting, and I don’t use RT to add frames for latency. The previous graph looked clean. The only changes were altering the Windows security path, though I’m not sure that was the cause, and Windows 11 handles it similarly. Hardware specs: Intel i7-3080, 5800X3D, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 850MB help files.
