my rtx 3060ti i710700f has 16gb ram with ddr4 at 3200mhz. i've installed the latest drivers and optimized windows for gaming, but nothing seems to help. my friend with similar settings on an epic game using a gtx 970 and an older amd processor with 8gb ram is seeing a big jump—200 to 240 fps. i'm getting around 130, but i'm frustrated and worried. the task manager shows high cpu usage, while nzxt cam only reports 20% cpu in-game and msi afterburner shows 55%. i don't know what's happening, and i've tried everything to boost gpu performance.

Verify your heat levels, they might be reducing performance due to overheating.

Verify your BIOS configuration. Ensure RAM operates at 3200 MHz. Also, confirm agreement to review temperatures.

@casparthefarmer The 10700F model has a low power cap of 65W. Install ThrottleStop 9.6 and share your FIVR and TPL window screenshots so I can review your configurations. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/tec...ottlestop/ Most processors lack fixed power restrictions, allowing ThrottleStop to boost performance significantly. Enable the ThrottleStop log file feature before starting a game. Spend at least 15 minutes of playtime and save a log file afterward. The Task Manager displays CPU usage and graphs, which differ from actual CPU consumption.

It’s often about testing everything at the standard setting. You might need to reinstall Windows to achieve this, since you don’t have the specialized "gaming" version from YouTube.
