I haven't used my PC for about two months since moving, and it's now extremely slow in terms of frames per second. Anyone know what might be causing this issue? The problem seems unusual because before I moved, I had a stable 180fps on games like Fortnite and consistently around 240+ fps on CS:GO with comp settings. Although my CPU is technically the bottleneck, it still performed well back then.

My PC details:
RTX 2060
16GB RAM
CPU: i5-4440
Standard SSD and HDD storage

The issue isn't just lag—it's that my FPS drops suddenly to 40-60s after a brief moment, then fluctuates wildly, making it nearly impossible to play. I was told the problem was with my CPU, but now it's completely unplayable after only two months. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

CPU: Motherboard: RAM: SSD/HDD: GPU: PSU: OS: You may need to use DDU to remove your GPU drivers and reinstall them via the newest version from Nvidia's support site. Install manually in an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
Check the current BIOS version and the OS version your system uses. Also note the age of the PSU.
