A general concept for a PC under 500 USD with built-in graphics means you can always check out the GPU you already have in this setup.

For general media or YouTube, it should work well if you need more GPU power—like a 3060 with 12GB would be suitable for most everyday tasks.
The B550 gives plenty of options to keep it running for years.
A cooler is important for long life, and because this board is cheap, it has no VRMs, so you should choose one that blows air down toward the board.

I’ll check the store’s return rules and inquire about swapping for a cheap mobo/CPU/RAM set under $500.

I went shopping and bought a similar PSU from the same place I bought the PSU earlier this morning.
I made a mistake by jumping onto the suspect immediately—my PSU kept booting in a loop.
Urmass will not accept a return or store credit since the warranty is broken. That means I now have a backup PSU.
I heeded your suggestion and installed the Ryzen 5 5600 / MSI B550M PRO motherboard with 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM.
It took about an hour to take apart the old unit and put in the new one. The best part? It’s functioning perfectly!
Even better, I can restart my current system and back up all my settings.
I spent a bit on an NVMe M.2 1TB SSD (after all, it should be worth $99 if the motherboard supports it).
Once I’m sure I have everything, I plan to install Windows 11 on the new drive and compare its speed with my old SATA 128GB.

It's great that it works, the NVMe is significantly faster during boot times, especially noticeable in applications. File transfers remain smooth even if your operating system functions normally. I would still back up data and perform a complete reset of the existing OS (don't click keep existing files), as this helps avoid issues like lagging or instability.
