Hey there! So you're trying to set up your first PC but nothing appears on your 86-inch LG TV when you power it on. Everything else lights up, including the motherboard, GPU, AIO, and fans. You're using a Philips Hue sync box, which works fine, so the issue isn't with the cable or connection. Could be something with the TV itself?

Confirming connection: Are you connecting to the GPU or the motherboard via HDMI?

I also tried both setups. When sitting on the TV using HDMI3 and the PC connected via HDMI1, I still receive notifications from both the motherboard and GPU whenever I plug in or remove the device. It seems it’s registering them somehow. Edited March 10, 2023 by Pumim

I attempted both options. No beeps upon startup. There’s no LED on the motherboard. I can test it, but all components are illuminated (RGB RAM). The GPU fans are running and the GPU is active. (The only missing part is a 3-pin 5V RGB connector)

I remembered something. 5800X3D needs a BIOS flash to be supported on B550 chipset, atleast version 2423 which is released in August of 2021. Here's how to identify which BIOS version your board shipped with according to ASUS for reference. If the BIOS version is correct or greater, then make sure your CPU cooler is tightly screwed but not too tight. Too much or too little pressure will cause contact issues between your CPU pins to your cooler. You can try to remove the CPU and reinstall it all over again, as long as you dont touch the thermal pasted surface and it still looked moist you can still reuse it. You only need it to be handtight on the screwdriver, with 1/4 turn extra being the most id do. If it shipped with older BIOS, then youll need to do a BIOS update. To me id say its time to get back to the store for support on it because you only just recently bought it, i always prefer updating BIOS using an already compatible CPU instead of BIOS Flashback using the USB port in your motherboard. But if thats not an option, Here's a guide by Asus on using their BIOS Flashback feature , and the BIOS download page for the board .

I located the display indicators. Before this, I wasn't sure what to find, but now it's visible. A white light on the VGA turns on shortly after power-up. Initially, everything flickers slightly before the VGA lights up fully.

I updated the BIOS via USB. The VGA light remains active. The GPU VGA stays on even after removal. Deleting all RAM causes the orange LED to fade and turn off, while adding one RAM restores it and switches VGA back on.

In this scenario, the issue likely involves the GPU. Here are some troubleshooting steps: Verify that all PCIe power connectors are securely seated and clicked in. They should appear fully engaged without any gaps or uneven contact. Ensure the PCIe connector matches the board's specifications—no loose connections. Listen for the clicking sound when inserting. Test other PCIe X16 slots on the board to rule out a faulty slot.

I used the cables that came with my PSU. (Ordered some sleeves that’s arrives later) *Exhaust fans are not connected as I’m also waiting for NZXT controller.
