Hola, amigos.

Yes, you can access the BIOS settings. The clicking sound usually originates from the motherboard or power supply unit during startup.

The computer remained on for a short time, and I had no idea what that clicking noise meant. We entered the BIOS once but didn’t know what to do. It didn’t shut down during the BIOS screen if that’s what you were wondering about. Many people mentioned they’ve never seen anything similar, which makes me feel concerned.

The sound and light appear coordinated, suggesting a possible connection between them.

Let me review your setup before the issues began. Were there any modifications made to the PC? Could the noise originate from the motherboard or power supply unit? In the best scenario, it might be related to the LEDs, while in the worst case, it could involve the motherboard or PSU. How familiar are you with assembling and disassembling a PC? Do you feel confident enough to handle specific cables or components?

I assembled the PC myself and gathered a parts list from a Discord group of PC builders. I’m sure I can handle the build and disassembly, though I’m not sure about troubleshooting. What were you hoping to check in the BIOS? Enabled XMP profile 1—could that be relevant? If you need guidance on what to focus on during disassembly, let me know!

Generally, it comes down to what you've already attempted. Have you checked if XMP was enabled, tested a single stick of RAM, or replaced any components?

I haven’t tested without the XMP Profile or used a single stick. I went with two sticks instead of four. After assembling the PC, nothing changed—now it feels like it’s been around for about two years. Are there any other clues indicating the PSU is failing? That was our initial concern.

Sure, take into account your age and how regularly you maintain the interior.
