PC Hard-Lock up
PC Hard-Lock up
Hi there,
Recently I've encountered an unusual issue with my PC that hasn't happened before. The system would suddenly lock or crash without any warning. I'm curious if this might be linked to my overclocking running at high speeds for extended periods.
PC specifications:
i5 8600K at 4.7Ghz, 1.32V – appears to be the most stable setting after testing.
GTX 1070ti at +175 on core clock and +475 on memory clock – also seems optimal for my card.
System temperatures:
Overall: 36°C at idle/mid-load – drops to 60/70 during gaming.
Cores: 40.5°C at idle/mid-load – likely around 60°C while gaming.
GPU: 32°C at idle/mid-load – peaks near 60/70 during gameplay, sometimes briefly higher in intense moments or when using P3D (which can consume nearly full GPU power).
In the event viewer, I received a message: "The following notification of an unrecoverable error has been generated: 70. The internal error status is 105."
Followed by a peer name resolution issue and a kernel-power event indicating a hard-reset was needed.
Please help me understand what’s going on!
Best,
