PC hangs due to CPU debug indicator!
I frequently press the power button and the system freezes at the CPU debug screen. After shutting it down forcefully a few times and restarting, it begins to show progress. I cleaned the internal components and verified the CPU connections; everything seemed fine initially. The issue started after a BIOS update, then gradually stopped working. It has persisted for over a year. My power button LED also failed. I suspect it's connected to power usage, though I'm not certain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Note: I attempted to manage cables, possibly causing the problem somewhere. Specs: Processor Ryzen 5 3600 MB, Msi B450, RAM 2x8 GB 2666MHz, GPU Asus TUF 1650 OC 4GB, PSU Gigabyte P650 650W, case Deepcool, monitor LG 22MK600.
Hey there. I noticed you repeated the same error. When you were cable managing, it seems you didn't fully connect both the 24-pin and CPU 4-pin cables. Give it another try and check the results!
The PC appears to be starting, yet the power indicator remains off. Consider other possibilities beyond the power LED sequence.
It’s mostly a wiring issue, with just a small chance the LED is damaged.
The lights appear to switch on intermittently, which suggests the LED is functioning properly.
Disconnect and verify proper installation. It might be a power supply issue.
