I'm new to this site and the world of PC specs, so please give me a chance if what I say sounds silly.
I’ll begin by sharing my current setup:
OS: Windows 10 Pro
CPU: Intel Core i3-8100
RAM: 8GB DDR4
Graphics card: Radeon RX 570 Series
Power supply: Corsair RM750
(If you need more details, just let me know)

My PC has been experiencing this problem:
I play a demanding game (Borderlands 3/Overwatch, BL3 is set to the lowest settings and OVW is on higher), but after about 40 minutes of gaming, my monitor goes black. It doesn’t show a “no signal” alert—just a black screen with power still working.
The PC either stays on but I can’t access anything unless I restart completely, or it shuts down entirely. Sometimes it makes a loud whirring sound at startup, only briefly.
After booting up, everything works fine—no error messages, no pop-ups, and all programs open normally.

I’ve checked my monitors and cables for faults, cleaned the inside of my PC thoroughly, ensured fans spin freely without interference, rearranged cables, refreshed RAM, replaced thermal paste, upgraded to a new PSU (though I’m not sure why), and monitored temperatures using Core Temp. I ran Benchmark and MemTest86, updated BIOS, looked in various forums for similar issues but found nothing.

This issue only appears when running games, especially BL3/OVW. I can play low-quality games without problems (Minecraft, Genshin Impact at lowest settings, Borderlands 2), but it becomes an issue recently.
I’m not sure whether to include this in my report or not—I’ve tried updating my Intel driver and the tool says a new update is available, yet my PC still says it’s not compatible.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to figure out what parts to buy before Christmas deals arrive, and this has been frustrating for months. Thank you.

Your temperatures while under load for both the CPU and GPU are available via MSI Afterburner.

The file was downloaded for Afterburner but you're unsure about its usage. To test CPU or GPU performance under load, follow the instructions provided in the download.
