PC gaming can be quite challenging in numerous aspects.
I appreciate the excitement of adjusting settings; that’s why I switched to PC. However, at times I just need the game to run smoothly without any lag or freezing issues.
At the same time, console games continue to experience frame drops or stuttering. The industry's push toward a more "cinematic" style might benefit from freeframe improvements in future updates for xbone/PS4, Xbox 4 and PS5. This could allow developers to aim for higher frame rates—like 40, 45, 48, or 50fps—instead of the current 30fps, since reaching a stable 60fps becomes much harder while pushing graphics further. I've been playing on PC since the 90s and never looked back. It's not just the great controls and graphics—I enjoy fine-tuning engines and mod games to match Oblivion. My last console was the PS1, and I don't think I'd buy one again. I don't start with what's wrong with consoles; I just want to avoid getting caught up in a rant. Why don't you sell your PC?
That's a curious question! I'm here to help with a wide range of topics. Could you clarify which guide or subject you're interested in?
I totally understand your point. While I don’t feel like returning to the console, the PC still offers a much better experience for gaming, even with its shortcomings.
Portability: I play on a gaming notebook that's less that half the size of your average console, and the screen is built in. It works with any controller I choose, give the right adaptors It works with the largest back catalogue of any platform, and if you count emulators, it can serve as any console up to the Wii, with various upgrades to visual quality, hardware horsepower and control. Price - while the hardware itself is more expensive, the games are far cheaper in the long run, and since I can play my back catalogue, I don't need to wait around for HD re-releases of classic games. I can just turn up the resolution. Even when the PC doesn't "just work" you can always turn down your settings, apply patches and mods to get things working right, and tailor your gaming to your own needs. 30fps not good enough? Well, lower your settings! This is a luxury option that consoles rarely have. The expanded variety of games available given the PC's flexibility make it ideal for both desk and couch use. You even have access to Android games if you run an app player, so mobile games that "would suck a lot less if only it had M+KB support" is no longer a concern!
It's a Windows tweaking tool created by Koroush Ghazi. He secured a deal with Nvidia to supply game-tweaking instructions, which led me to his site. Nowadays he doesn’t frequently release detailed guides because they’re easy to copy without giving credit, but he still maintains the Windows Tweaking companion series recommended by Nvidia. You can visit his website at http://www.tweakguides.com/. The deluxe version costs $4.50 and includes 687 pages of tweaking tips. He offers a wealth of useful content—from software tips and drivers to maintenance and game optimization. He also provides free guides explaining the functions of graphical settings in Nvidia’s control panel. The main challenge is dedicating time to read everything! Since Windows 10 tweaking isn’t available, he suggests using the older Windows 8.1 version instead. You can find more guides here: http://www.tweakguides.com/TGTC.html Good luck!
Shifted from the console to the PC. My machine now runs on a WII, PS2, PS1, GameCube plus a powerful monster PC capable of handling most PC games. I navigate with mouse and keyboard, Xbox One controller, Xbox 360 controller, and Steam controller. My setup includes a 144Hz monitor, upgraded to 1440p with G-Sync on Friday. I have a 15m HDMI cable connecting the TV in the living room for gaming and streaming Kodi. I don’t pay for online play. Many classic games remain active. The community is quieter, with fewer disruptive kids. I can access thousands of free DLC mods, customize settings for optimal enjoyment, and receive a Steam link for the upstairs TV. For me, PC remains the superior platform—this choice follows two decades of console gaming.
Someone is really into the idea of the master masturbating while watching their penis being eaten.
