I have a straightforward question since I haven't played any games on a PC in more than 20 years.
I plan to build a PC, but because of budget limits it will start with just one SSD and HDD.
Later this year, I intend to add a second HDD for more storage.
Now, my goal is to keep all the games I currently play on the SSD.
Eventually, I want to transfer those games to the slower second HDD or run them from there, and maybe move them back to the SSD later.
Is this feasible on a modern PC?

Yes, that's achievable. You'll just have to transfer the files to the new drive, and then set up your client (Origin, Steam, etc) to locate the game in the updated folder. It's quite simple now, though it was challenging a few years back.

Certain clients even permit you to relocate the game to a different drive directly from the client.

Another option is AMD StoreMI, I recommend giving it a try and checking if it suits your needs.
