These updates pertain to console-only versions of this game and previous ones not available on PC. Perhaps in the future emulators or loaders will support the latest consoles.

Vote for turnip! Jk, obviously playing Console only games on PC is better, expanding your library with some awesome titles such as Skate 3 or Super Mario Galaxy would be awesome

Well, the newest consoles are essentially PCs running their own OS inside them, all wrapped up in a sleek design. (Not literally cool, but it works.) The challenge with emulating lies in the fact that your machine typically needs to be significantly faster than the one being emulated. Plus, building an accurate emulator takes a lot of effort. For instance, the Wii is currently one of the most advanced consoles we can realistically emulate well, alongside the PS2. Their specs include:

- Wii: IBM PowerPC single core at 729MHz
- ATI "Hollywood" graphics chip (90nm, 243MHz)
- 88MB RAM, 3MB texture memory and frame buffer – a decent PC can handle emulating the PS2
- Sony’s custom "Emotion Engine" RISC processor (a proprietary technology)
- And a massive 32MB of RAM.

I’d like real ports to run on PCs with added PC capabilities. An emulator would work, but it’s unlikely in the near future. For exclusive games, buying the console seems more practical. As a buyer, I don’t support exclusives; as a company, I see the reason behind it.

I don't support imitation, yet I fully back developers adapting console titles for PC platforms.

I've bought nearly every gaming console from the Atari 2600 up through the 80s, including the Pong system, 3DO, and Philips CD-i. I'm hoping developers will start making games for PC at the same time as consoles. As you know, some titles boost hardware sales, so I still face the choice between getting a PS4 (I own two Xbox One models) just to play Uncharted. By the way, I also have a complete collection of Hyperspin that lets me enjoy old console games without needing the original systems.

I prefer a reliable PC port, but if forced, an emulator is at least better than nothing. I’d rather rely on it than buy a dedicated machine, provided it performs similarly or better. In theory, building a compatibility layer could work instead of a full emulator, given the use of x86 by consoles—Wine might be a possibility. Of course, without the manufacturer’s support it becomes significantly more difficult.

It could be x86, though I’m uncertain about the specifics. Some hardware might use proprietary features like DDR5 memory in devices such as the PS4, which could add complexity.

I guess the xbone version would be easier, but given fast enough ram or vram it should still be possible - the layer would need to tell the game which memory should be considered "ram" for each purpose. Of course I'm talking very generally, I wouldn't have a clue on how to actually do that.
