Modern warfare 3 crashed during launch on a friend’s PC. The system reported an error (0x9) and attempted a repair, which required a full download again. The specs shown in the screenshots were 16GB DDR3.

Check for additional details about the BSOD. Verify if any changes were made to the BIOS. If necessary, apply default settings and attempt again. Also, refresh the GPU driver from the provided link.
