PC Game Pass requires admin authorization for setup
I just joined and downloaded Xbox Game Pass for PC, but I'm facing issues downloading or installing games that require administrator approval on their game page. I've looked online without success. I've tried running the app with admin rights, edited registry settings a bit to adjust permissions, and even uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times with several restarts. During installation, I select the drive and it asks where to install the game, then encounters an error code 0x80070005. I really need someone's help to fix this. Thanks!
The best approach would be to reach out to Microsoft. I've also encountered some errors. Initially, it refused to install games on my HDD because it claimed they weren't optimized, and later there were issues downloading a game, with the download speed dropping from 10mbs to 0b.
