I assembled the system using the components from the link and followed some YouTube tutorials. After turning it on, it freezes at Q code 15 with an orange DRAM light. Running it for about three minutes gets it past Q code 42 and boots into the BIOS. Everything appears recognized normally, but the boot indicator remains active and the code stays at 42. Is this typical behavior or could it be affecting the boot time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The extended startup time is typical during the initial boot of a 7000 series device. It’s unclear why it occurs consistently or if there’s an issue.

Consider refreshing your profile, as a newer version was just released for this board a few hours ago: ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI BIOS 0805. Updates include AGESA to ComboAM5PI 1.0.0.3 patch A + D 2 and enhancements for DRAM compatibility and system performance. Early adopters often encounter issues that are still being resolved.

Have you ever had this resolved? I've faced the same problem for three months. The motherboard is the same one I've been using, I even filed a return but the issue persists. I bought a new CPU and a replacement motherboard, but it still crashes after a clean install of Windows. After getting an extra RAM stick, the problem continues. This has been really frustrating. If I can't fix it, I'm considering selling both the motherboards and CPUs and starting fresh with an Intel build—though that would be tough for me since I really enjoy AMD. To make things worse, my PC worked perfectly for a week before I moved it to another location, and after the move, it wouldn't start at all. There were times when opening Windows right after a fresh install caused the keyboard to lock up or crash immediately. Once during a Windows update, the install would stop midway, forcing me to restart everything from scratch. Please help me out.
