PC front light, CPU fan, and case fan are active yet not responding or powering up.
I was working with an older machine I received and installed Windows yesterday. After setting up some apps and games, I powered it down. Now, when I press the back switch on the CPU, it rapidly spins the CPU, case fan, and front light all at once. It doesn’t seem to boot properly from here. I changed the power outlet, confirmed the 120V supply wasn’t 240V, and pressed the button for more than a minute without any results. The blinking didn’t follow any recognizable pattern, and there were no sounds other than the fan pulsing. The only solution was turning off the PSU switch. IMG_1891.MOV
Thanks! I also checked the CMOS battery again, and during the process I realized the 24-pin wasn’t fully seated.
