PC frequently restarts itself.
My PC keeps restarting from time to time. I wonder what is the real cause of it? I tried to troubleshoot it on my own and still can't figure it out.
Here are some of what I've done so far:
- Install hardware one at the time and problem still occurs.
- Tried to test my hardware(RAM,PSU, HDDs and GPU) on different setup and no issue.
- Everything is updated on my setup but I still get this random restarts.
- Sometimes I can play all day without the issue.
Here's my setup:
Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 Rev.2.2
Intel Core i5-2500 @ 3.3GHz
8.0 GB DDR3 1600MHz
AMD Radeon RX580 2048SP 8GB
Seasonic S12III 550w
I was wondering if it has to do with my Motherboard? I don't know if updating the BIOS will fix the problem but I can't just do that straight ahead. I need to find some answer to those who have better knowledge when it comes to this topic.
Have you reworked the CPU? If not, it's likely dried out by now.
