PC frequency increases from 3.8 to 4.45 ghz upon awakening from sleep
Hi guys,
Something really weird is happening, i have overclocked my ryzen 1600 to 3.8ghz at 1.375V.
everything is good and dandy, i put the computer to sleep and wake up to find that its overclocked itself further after waking from sleep mode?
in cinebench i normally get 1230-1250 but now its getting 1480ish.
Task manager shows cpu running at 4.45ghz during cinebench test and cpu is at 50 degrees.
Not sure what to do? it happened before but stopped after i shut down pc.
This just doesnt seem normal

Hey everyone,
There’s something odd going on. I overclocked my Ryzen 1600 to 3.8ghz at 1.375V. Everything seems fine, but when I put the PC to sleep and then wake it up, it kept increasing further. In Cinebench I usually see 1230-1250, now it’s around 1480. The Task Manager shows the CPU running at 4.45ghz during the test, and the temperature is at 50 degrees. I’m not sure what to do—it happened before but stopped after I shut down the PC. This doesn’t seem normal. Do you have "Turbo Boosting" enabled for Ryzen CPUs? That might be causing it.

Do you have "Turbo Boosting" or whatever its called for Ryzen CPU's enabled? That could be doing it.
