Recently I've noticed that mid-range builds should be using 2x32GB RAM. Windows tends to start caching at around 60% usage, and lately I'm using 16 or 32GB while launching games, which pushes me into the mid-20s.

Great update today with plenty of exciting developments this morning. We completed Memtest last night for roughly eight hours, running two full passes and achieving 91% on the third. No errors were detected. The test ended, we switched back to Windows, and played a light game for about an hour before heading to the gym. After a short break, the PC experienced a BSOD, then froze again after one minute before restarting successfully. It’s been running smoothly for about an hour now. Here’s the summary of recent events, DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION reports (likely the root cause throughout): ♪♫ We’ve checked HWInfo multiple times—no overheating issues, cooling is adequate, temperatures are normal, and stress tests haven’t caused temperature problems. The random crashes seemed to point toward RAM or power supply, but the WATCHDOG VIOLATION suggests it’s more likely a hardware fault. We’re hoping someone can address this situation effectively.
The problem vanished after a Windows update, lasting more than a month. Eventually, I tried again with updates (he was hesitant because it fixed things), but the issues returned strongly. Frequent hard freezes appeared on the motherboard splash screen (BIOS still functional), and I couldn’t access Windows 19 or 20. I took it to a repair shop, who tested everything thoroughly—new SSDs, new installations, even a new SSD freezing during setup. They suggested replacing the motherboard and hoping for a better outcome.
ISSUE RESOLVED! A friend of the PC owner finally handled it, calling it "annoying." We've made many attempts. Ultimately, they replaced the SSDs, performed fresh installs on the existing hardware (including freezing during installations on the same drive), swapped out the PSU, GPU, and motherboard—all while working with a 5950X. I have no idea how it ever functioned, why it would switch on and off, but the CPU was changed during all this testing and seemed to be the cause of the problems.
