🔺 The system was relocated from "Displays" to "Systems" because it seemed more suitable for the problem. This marks the first time I've been posting in any forum.
The problem involves my PC experiencing difficulties and freezing occasionally—around 80% during games and 20% in everyday tasks like watching YouTube. I’m new to PC ownership and unsure where to begin. The typical pattern is: while playing a game, I switch to Chrome and suddenly there’s a 10-second pause (audio plays for half the time before resuming when I stop). I’m not sure if this information is relevant.
Another example: during a Zoom meeting, nothing else runs in the background, but everything freezes again, causing me to disconnect. This is one of the main reasons I joined this forum—I can’t handle basic business meetings.
What I’ve tried so far includes minor PC optimizations, driver updates, and setting RAM in BIOS to XPO. My friend suggested it might be Wi-Fi issues since it’s not performing well, but I can’t just replace my Wi-Fi without testing.
What I’m asking for is clear guidance. If the issue is straightforward enough for someone to identify quickly, that would be ideal. Otherwise, I need a stress test tool that can check each component individually or run in the background while I perform daily tasks and review logs. I have no idea what tools to use.
My current specs are:
- CPU: 7800X3D
- GPU: 7700XT (Gigabyte)
- RAM: B650 Gaming x2
- Storage: 32GB GDDR6
- OS: Windows 11 Pro
- SSD: 2TB
- Network: Cat 6 Ethernet (7.5MB/s Wi-Fi speed)
- Power Supply: 1200W PSU (overkill)
- Monitor: 1440p at 240fps
- Color: RGB red (uncertain if other colors work better)

I couldn’t find the PSU specs, but I’m pretty sure everything is on the other side (the PSU is upside down).
