so i was using chrome, and suddenly my pc freezes, no sound, no ctrl+alt+delete, thought it was due to my overclock, but i've been like a week on the same voltages without problems, this is the first time it happens, any ideas on what could be causing this?

If it occurs once more, consider retreating or eliminating the OC; stability might not be guaranteed.

Execute a stress test on it and observe its stability. Prime95, Memtest x86, and Unigene are reliable tools for this purpose.

Crashes often stem from power issues, whereas freezes usually relate to memory problems. As mentioned earlier, take off any overclocking and run Memtest86 to test your RAM.

Crashes with BSOD and random reboots usually relate to power issues, whereas freezes are often memory-related. As mentioned before, take off any overclocks and run Memtest86 to test your RAM. Chrome tends to consume a lot of memory. How many tabs were open when the freeze occurred? Just three, not notching heavy. I have 16GB of RAM, but I didn’t mention it. Two days ago I was testing a 5GHz processor at 1.478V on my FX 6300 while playing Dark Souls 3, and it worked fine then. But recently it froze again.
