PC fan system and gaming troubleshooting.
I am attempting to play Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7, and every time I play, the CPU and case fans spool up to a very loud RPM. I can successfully run games like The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 at High and Ultra settings with minimal RPM changes or noticeable sound differences. Considering my system specifications—an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, an AMD Radeon RX 580 GPU, 16 GB of RAM, and an ASUS TUF X-470 plus gaming AM4 ATX motherboard—can Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 truly be significantly more demanding than these other games? I would appreciate any advice regarding this issue, as the high RPM levels make the game difficult to play comfortably.
At the same time, I would perform a full virus and malware scan.
For PC, support is available up to Windows 7. Xbox versions will not work.
The LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 game on Steam is experiencing issues. Attempt a refund to see if the Steam store functionality resolves the problem, but this is not certain.
I could do that, but I purchased it on GOG.com, and they state it is supported for Windows 10. Would the difference in operating system actually cause issues?
Use this detection link to test your system. There could be corrupted files on the one you get specially if you use cheat codes.
I tested this and received confirmation that it fulfilled all criteria. I have not employed any cheats. I intend to reinstall the program to ascertain if that resolves the issue. Fortunately, my progress within the game was minimal, so I will delete all associated files.
Simultaneously, I would conduct a comprehensive virus and malware scan.
