Yesterday while browsing YouTube, your PC suddenly restarted a few times. After turning it back on, I pressed the CMOS reset button on the motherboard and now can't connect to the monitor. The EZ Debug LED lights up near the CPU for about eight seconds before turning off completely—no sound or alert. I've changed the CPU cable in the power supply, cleared CMOS several times, removed the CMOS battery, and even tried the JBAT1 method. I'm worried the CMOS might not clear properly because my motherboard lights up above the RAM, which suggests XMP is active, even though I thought it shouldn't be enabled after clearing CMOS. I don’t have any answers. Any tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
It has functioned effectively for more than a year now. The bios version is compatible with the chip.
I used to update BIOS for 3rd gen Ryzen on an old R3 1200. Now I need some thermal paste to replace the CPU, thinking it might help. I’m confused because the system restarted by itself, worked again, but after clearing CMOS everything failed.
Conduct some tests to reset the CMOS. Keep it running for a longer time. Allow the board up to 180 seconds to submit.
