I recently assembled a new PC yet it doesn’t boot properly. The system turns on with fans and RGB lights, but no display appears. The motherboard no longer shows error codes via Q-LEDs, yet it still won’t start. Specifications include an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, NVIDIA GTX 1070 Founders Edition, G.Skill Ripjaws S5 DDR5 32GB at 6000MHz (installed in A2 & B2), an ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS motherboard, a Gigabyte UD850GM power supply, Patriot P400 Lite 2TB NVMe storage plus XPG GAMMIX S50 CORE 500GB NVMe, and NZXT Kraken X52 AIO with AM5 adapter. I’ve followed troubleshooting steps: flashed BIOS, re-seated components, tried one RAM stick at a time, booted without RAM or GPU, and reset CMOS. I also swapped the motherboard to Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX but faced the same problem. I tested various monitors and cables, even disconnected CPU and PSU to rule out hardware faults. My guess is the original Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX may have failed early, possibly damaging the CPU. Everything else is new except the GPU. I’m uncertain what to do next and would appreciate any advice.

You didn't start up using the built-in GPU? You haven't tried it before, right? Also, have you experienced this on the PSU side? You seem confident the BIOS updates were successful. Edited February 22, 2025 by leclod

I kept the flash from the manual in mind and performed the intended actions. The earlier motherboard I used had lights.

I recently installed a new CPU but encountered the same issues. Then I swapped in a different motherboard and CPU, but the problems persisted.

Current status; I'm back in the process, carefully removing everything from the case and checking each part individually. Will also try with a different PSU.

Used a different motherboard (the possibly faulty one) along with the new CPU, but it didn’t work.

New setup feels different. Using the updated CPU with the new hardware, everything connects properly. It starts up, but when I cut power, it powers off after a short delay. Once it boots again, the HDMI cable (I've also tested DVI) responds to movement, though it still displays 'no signal'.
