This old computer my friend lent me won’t start up into BIOS. The first screen shows F12 is the right one, but I’ve used three different keyboards and USB ports without success—it just ignores it and tries to boot. Installing Windows caused errors too, specifically that the disks controller isn’t enabled in BIOS. Any help with fixing these issues would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Reset CMOS and attempt once more. Ensure the USB keyboard is linked to the initial USB2 port.

I've also attempted it, but it only displays messages about CMOS being corrupted while letting me pick a profile. I've checked both profiles, yet neither functions properly.

I understand you're having trouble with the hard drive controller. Have you already checked the connections and power supply?

GPU: High-end graphics card with 7770 model, 4 GB DDR3 memory, AM4 processor, some uncertainty about the setup. Storage includes three different hard drives ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB.

A particular motherboard type would help with diagnosis. Understanding the chipset is also important since Gigabyte produced 90 variations for that socket.

The top options I found are AMD FX CPUs, a Gigabyte motherboard, and the ultra durable series. I’ve had trouble locating the specifications inside the BIOS.

Examine the card directly. The identifier is typically positioned just beneath the initial PCIe port.
