You had a good chance then, XMP2 was just as rare back then as it is today. The only consistent users who regularly used multiple XMP profiles were Kingston, G.Skill never does and Corsair rarely (though I'm sure they've had it before, I don't know if they still do). Smaller brands like Patriot and ADATA sometimes included it in their high-end kits, but it's not something you can depend on like Kingston does.

The RAM currently uses an Intel XMP 3.0 profile. Switching to a different profile might improve compatibility or performance.
