pc fails to start due to 4000mhz memory issue
Hello, welcome to PC gaming! You have a Ryzen 9 5900X with DDR4 4000 MHz Trident Z Royal RAM, but you're having trouble booting at 4000 MHz. It seems your system only boots up to 3800 MHz. The benchmark results aren't showing because the task manager reports a base CPU speed of 4.17 GHz and RAM at 3800 MHz.
Welcome to the forum. Noted you’re dealing with a new poster period/fulstop aversion—please use those. Likely the issue stems from some Zen3 CPUs not supporting 2000MHz FLCC.
I saw a suggestion to set the value at 2000, but I still couldn’t get it to function.
It varies from person to person. Those who can aren't using stock settings at all—definitely not even close. Still, it's not the end of the world.
