PC fails to start and no M.2 SSD is recognized.
Regular use of the PC for over two years stopped for about ten days. After restarting today, everything appeared normal but it crashed shortly after turning on again. A short green screen appeared without displaying any error. Repeated attempts to boot via BIOS revealed the OS couldn't detect the SSD and it wasn't set as a priority boot device. I restarted and sometimes Windows launched with the login screen, though it would crash when trying to unlock or change slots. The SSD model was Gigabyte, 256 GB M.2 NVMe, M.2 slot, and the system ran Windows 11 with Ryzen 5 3600 processor. Updated May 11, 2022 by MEHEDIUM
Could use a USB drive to attempt recovery of Windows. It seems the system thinks the drive is intact even if it's not.
