PC fails to start after installing M.2 SSD – could be a short circuit.
Hi everyone,
I installed a second M.2 SSD in my PC and faced several issues. After trying to initialize it in Disk Management, the system froze abruptly with loud static noise through my earphones. I removed the new SSD and restarted the computer, but it triggered a BAD_CONFIG_SYSTEM_INFO crash. Subsequent restarts didn’t get me back online, and the debug light stayed lit on the CPU. There was one time it booted successfully but got stuck on a black screen.
It seems there might be a short circuit, though I’m not very familiar with these components. Any suggestions would be really helpful.
Thanks!

Make and model of your PSU?
You might want to try and take advantage of the
Flash BIOS Button
on the back of your motherboard.

Though from what you've described, I think your board or your processor fizzled out. Only way you can be sure is if you can drop the processor onto a known working board(outside of what you have at this moment).
