PC fails to power on after attempting a second GPU installation. The process seems to have caused damage. System doesn’t boot with the previous setup. Components listed: Ryzen 7 3800X, MSI RTX 2070S, 2x16 Corsair Vengeance RGB pro, MSI MGP X570 Gaming Edge Wifi MB. Debug lights activated after a brief DRAM and BOOT flash. Static CPU detection failed; no RAM or CPU power detected. Possible issues: static damage to memory or CPU power cable misalignment due to cable positioning. I attempted another PSU with only 8/14 pin configuration, which resolved the issue temporarily. Case fans started while others did not. Please review the debugging steps to help identify the problem before purchasing replacements. Thank you for your assistance.

The pins inside the GPU or power connectors may be damaged, similar to the GPU power connector itself. There could be dust inside the PSU cables. Debrief?

The PSU cables and connectors appear normal. It seems the issue isn’t with a different power supply. Could the motherboard be faulty?

It's quite feasible.

Only part of the CPU power connector was connected. CPU_PWR 2 is required by the instructions, which means the problem is that the CPU isn't getting power and therefore won't start.

Been working for two years now. I managed to pinpoint the problem to an MB file. The power supply seems fine since it works with another device, so there’s nothing wrong there. I plan to get a fresh MB this week and see if it helps.
