His latest build is completely unresponsive, showing only the lights on the ARGB fans. Pressing the power button or shorting the pins yields no response, and even the PSU fan remains stationary. We conducted numerous tests, replacing components one by one until the final attempt with just the MOBO and CPU also failed. The PSU worked fine in another system. He was due for a PSU upgrade anyway, so we ordered a replacement to test as soon as it arrives. I’ll keep this updated once we have results. His specs include: Ryzen 5 5500, Asus Prime A520M-A II, Radeon RX 6600, 16GB XPG DDR4 RAM, Corsair CX430 PSU, a generic Chinese case, and standard fans.

Before the PSU is installed, consider an alternative approach. The motherboard supports BIOS flashing capabilities, allowing you to update to a newer or latest BIOS version. Here’s the official link for your specific model: https://www.asus.com/motherboards-compon...520m-a-ii/

I just discovered the Carefree bios option. It's fascinating! The motherboard came out in February this year, which suggests the bios might already be current. We're going to give it a shot. Note: Apparently, the bios feature requires the system to boot up properly before it functions. We couldn't complete that step. Updated May 23, 2025 by raytracedminecraft

Attempted using one RAM stick instead of the dual configuration.
