PC fails to power on via BIOS after turning on Secure Boot. Assistance needed!
It seems the system was likely in a compromised condition that enabled bios to start without issues.
Check the CMOS reset procedure carefully. Ensure all connections are correct and power is restored properly. If issues persist, consult the device manual for specific troubleshooting steps.
This board uses a D6 chipset, which seems linked to the GPU functionality.
The motherboard is a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra. I attempted HDMI on the slot but kept getting a D6 error, while the GPU RGB lights and fans are functioning normally. The issue appears similar to the one on GigaByte forum. However, I’m unable to force BIOS backup manually despite instructions suggesting it should work automatically.
You haven't mentioned your CPU model. The device includes an integrated GPU. Have you checked if you removed the dedicated GPU before connecting it to the integrated one?
It seems you're asking if the GPU needs to be removed from its PCI slot to function properly. After trying to disconnect the GPU from the PCI slot and using the IGPU, it might still be working. You may not need to disconnect it unless there are specific issues.
It isn't always required, but sometimes the iGPU fails to function properly when a dedicated GPU is connected, especially if default BIOS settings are in place. Even if this appears to be a GPU problem, it's advisable to remove it completely. Since the issue seems related to Secure Boot, we're currently checking for a GPU-related cause.
