PC fails to power on despite PCIe cards being present
Hello, I'm facing some challenges with my new PC setup. The main components I have are an Intel i5-14600K processor, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM at 5600MHz, an AsRock B760 PRO RS motherboard, Seasonic 850W Focus Gold graphics, and a Windows 11 operating system. I've installed PCIe cards such as the Quadro M4000, P2000, and a TPLink Archer T5E adapter for Bluetooth/WiFi. When no PCIe cards are connected, everything functions properly. However, when any of these cards are installed, the boot lights activate and turn off, but nothing appears on the screen. The keyboard LEDs remain inactive as well. I've tried updating the BIOS, adjusting PCIe slot speeds, setting RAM to default, changing cables, and even rebuilding the system. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. It seems there might be a problem with the motherboard configuration or settings. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
Check if CSM is active or turned off. Consider switching to HDMI for compatibility. You may require a converter for the Quadro cards because they use DP connections.
CSM is turned off. The system advises installing a dedicated graphics card for it to work. I haven’t managed to reach the BIOS with the GPU installed, even though I’ve used various cables and ports on the GPU. I also don’t have an HDMI adapter available to test. It’s the same GPU and monitor as my previous PC, so I’m not expecting issues there.
