Issue:
After changing both the CPU and RAM at the same time, the PC failed to power on. Even with all four slots occupied using a mix of the new and old components. The BIOS lights are active, but the system doesn’t respond. Attempted to revert to the previous configuration with only the older RAM. Still no start-up.
The MOBO is showing lights and its cooler is running in both cases, so it seems functional. However, there’s no power for the keyboard or mouse. Connecting a phone charger via the MOBO port provides energy.
I’m struggling to understand why this happened. Were there any signs of damage during the upgrade? The system should function normally with the old setup if everything was intact during installation.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Have you attempted to clear the CMOS? Did you update the BIOS before installing the Ryzen 5 5600GT into the socket? It's recommended to clear the CMOS once you confirm the BIOS has been successfully updated to the latest version. Which slots are being filled with the new RAM on the motherboard? You didn't specify the brand and model of your power supply unit, nor its age.

If by flash you mean applying the newest version, then yes I did update the MOBO's BIOS (and confirmed the latest version was installed in the BIOS after restarting the PC).
However, I didn't remove the CMOS battery after that. I'll attempt to do so now.
The RAM slots I was using were the three on the right, indicating the leftmost slot is empty. I plan to start with a single RAM module.
My PSU is a Corsair HX Series™ HX750W from 2010, and it has been functioning properly since my first build in the same case.
Because of the mismatched RAM, I would begin with just the RAM that was bought as a SET (the two C16).

I also attempted to power on the PC without any RAM installed, but there was still no sound, complete silence.
When I returned to capture the photo, I chose to put one RAM in slot 2 just for the picture.
It came back on properly. It might be that one of my RAMs wasn’t fully secured, which is odd since I have five Corsair modules and have tested various configurations before.
Now I have the latest 2x16GB with a Ryzen 2400G. The next goal is to install the Ryzen 5600GT and see how it goes.
By the way, I’ve been using the stock cooler from AMD facing upwards for about three days after trying the Ryzen 5600GT. Should I be concerned about the thermal paste drying out or any other issues?
Always wipe the cooler and CPU using isopropanol and a cotton swab. Wait until completely dry before applying fresh thermal paste. Avoid using mismatched RAM kits.

I’ve modified the BIOS settings so that the RAM operates at 3200Mhz (instead of the standard 2133Mhz), and I’ve allocated dedicated VRAM for the iGPU to 2GB (the default was 512MB, but I couldn’t find more options in the BIOS).
