I own an ASUS B450 F gaming with Ryzen 3700X and a 6700 XT. The problem started without warning, even though there were no prior issues. I've reset the CMOS, switched to MBO card video output, and re-seated my RAM modules. Edit 1: After further checks, I encountered a black screen error suggesting OS or drive problems. I also have a 970 EVO Pro and a SATA 3TB drive. Edit 2: The issue was resolved by addressing an OS/NVMe problem—NVMe slot 1 seems faulty while slot 2 works fine. Also upgraded to an AIO, which improved my idle performance by 10-20%. For others facing similar issues, two potential fixes are: 1) NVMe SSD is damaged 2) OS is corrupted

Black screen appears with a line indicating an OS failure. Video output via MBO cannot function because the 3700X lacks an integrated GPU. No display output is possible through the motherboard. If you access BIOS, verify it hasn't become outdated.

Exactly how you achieve that depends on your platform. Check the settings or options for posting bios there.

Make sure you're inside the Bios, then review your PSU details. See if you can run the GPU on another computer.

You own a Bequiet 750W and currently don’t, but you have a backup GT 710 available.

Resolved the problem; it turned out to be an OS/NVMe issue where the NVMe slot 1 was problematic, but it worked fine in slot 2. Upgraded to an AIO and my idle performance improved by 10-20%.
