PC fails to boot via VGA light indicator.
Hi, I noticed your PC hasn't started lately. After inspecting it, I figured out the issue was with the power supply. I replaced it with a new RM750 and still see the VGA light. I've tried several fixes—clearing CMOS, re-seating components, adjusting CPU connections, and testing different PCIe slots—but nothing works. The motherboard seems to have a setting in BIOS blocking the GPU from powering on. Since your CPU doesn't have an integrated graphics, changing that setting isn't possible. Could you check if the PSU is still functioning properly or if there are any error codes? Any advice would be helpful.
Have you tried running your previous version without a GPU to check functionality? Do you have another computer available for testing the GPU?
I can't run tests on the old machine because the motherboard is damaged, and I don’t have another PC ready for testing.
Are there other GPUs available to use in this setup? Also, don’t have another suitable method to eliminate the GPU problem except visiting a store to test them.
No other GPUs available. It seems I’ll have to move it somewhere.
