I recently purchased a new pc with the specifications listed and decided to attempt overclocking for the first time. Initially, everything functioned properly as I gradually increased clock speed and voltage until the system crashed and failed to boot. After clearing the CMOS, everything seemed normal. Then I tried again, but it still crashed upon startup. I reset the CMOS and accessed the BIOS to verify everything was correct—everything was fine. While in the BIOS, I observed that my RAM was set to 2660 MHz instead of the 3600 MHz indicated on the stick, so I adjusted it. After restarting, I reached the Windows login. Immediately after logging in, my PC crashed again. I cleared the CMOS once more and entered the BIOS. There I noticed the CPU temperature was between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius, so I allowed it to cool a bit, but it didn’t stabilize. When trying to sign into Windows, the system crashed once more. This is where I need assistance.

I noticed the issue. Each time I started Windows Ryzen Master, it would increase my CPU speed and cause crashes. I went into safe mode and removed all Ryzen Master files, and everything worked fine afterward.

Was die Frage, ob du mit XMP vorbereitet war, oder ob du zuerst die Frequenz angepasst hast, bevor du die XMP aktiviert hast?

I did not turn it on at all. I assumed I was familiar enough with Oc and thought I could handle the rest independently, but it seems I wasn't correct.

Reset the CMOS once more. Check the RAM settings it adjusts. Experiment with XMP profiles on RAM to increase the frequency, but stop when stability is lost.

Right now, my main concern is simply getting started with Windows, not adjusting the memory speeds.

I mentioned resetting the bios to default stock configurations. This includes memory, cpu, and all other settings. After that, once you're able to boot into Windows, you can apply xmp profiles to approach the specified memory speeds.
