My new PC experiences problems every time it restarts—Windows Update, manual reboots, etc.—it stops posting, the screens show a signal loss after ten seconds, and the CPU and DRAM debug lights on my motherboard illuminate. This issue started after I powered on the machine a week ago for installation, causing me constant stress. Hard shutting it down each time the install tried to restart likely contributed to further complications like corrupted files. Here are my system details (full list attached):
- ASRock B650 Pro RS
- Ryzen 5 7600x (no overclocking)
- G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB (2x 16GB DDR5 sticks)
- RTX 3080 FE 10GB
- EVGA SuperNOVA G+ 1000 W
- CableMod Pro ModMesh E-Series cables

The CPU and DRAM LEDs operate independently, not blinking together. Your PSU likely has an Eco-mode option. The PC may only reset when using a screen saver or entering sleep/hibernate, not necessarily causing issues beyond that.

The lights are active simultaneously, which makes me think my power supply unit isn't functioning properly. So far, I haven't experienced any problems with waking up from sleep. It appears to only restart itself.

The BIOS is now current. AsRock released several updates for your board. Both the 8-pin and 4-pin headers are connected.

Thank you for your patience. The update to the BIOS is complete, and I currently only have the 8-pin connector. I’ve learned that the 4-pin is typically reserved for specific high-power scenarios like intense overclocking, though it might not be essential for most setups.

I've experienced some motherboards requiring dual CPU power connections for booting. I've only touched on the newer Ryzen models, but it's worth giving them a shot. Have you attempted to install a single RAM stick? Just to boot Windows and see if the system resets, to eliminate faulty RAM. Try one stick at a time. Ryzen boards can be unpredictable with memory modules. For extra safety, use a multimeter to verify your CMOS battery voltage. Even though it's a new board, a weak or failing CMOS battery might cause issues after a restart.

When I have the opportunity, I'll attempt to connect the 4-pin and see if it resolves the issue. I've also tested running one RAM stick at a time, but that didn't help. It seems the problem might be with the CPU or motherboard, though I can't test further because I don't have additional components.
