Pc fails to boot BIOS/Windows and remains inactive even after power is turned off via the Windows interface.
I hope this topic is correct. To grasp the issue, take note that I recently upgraded my PC by adding a new CPU, motherboard, RAM, Windows 11, and M.2 SSDs. When I press the power button, the system launches normally, the RGB lights activate, and fans spin, but the monitor fails to display anything, the keyboard and mouse are off, and no lights come from them either. I forced a shutdown by pressing the power button, then tried repeatedly using the DELETE key and then the keyboard and mouse, which eventually lit up and showed the ASUS logo on the screen. After fixing some BIOS settings and updating drivers, the problem persists. In Windows, when I select Restart or Shut Down, the mouse, keyboard, and monitor shut down, but the OS continues running. Fans suddenly increase speed for a brief moment before stabilizing normally, and restarting requires a 5-10 minute cooldown. No one else seems to have encountered this issue, and my troubleshooting knowledge is limited. I’ve seen similar problems elsewhere, but no solutions appear to exist.
I've encountered a similar problem before, which seems to fall under this subject. I'm left with even more questions than answers, hehe.
No, only the M.2 disks were present during installation. There were no additional disks in the machine.
