PC fails to boot after PSU modification.
You've just set up a new Corsairs HX750 PSU and your computer isn't starting. There are two buzzing noises from the power supply, but nothing happens. Removing the PCI 6+2 cable from the GPU works, so the issue might be with the PSU itself. Your old RX570 GPU seems fine, but it's possible the PSU is faulty and could damage your new GPU as well. You're worried about both components failing together.
It wasn't the same as my old PSU that was just 450w, but my current setup includes: CPU - Ryzen 5 5600x with stock cooler GPU - Radeon rx 570 (now upgraded to 3060 ti) Motherboard - B450 AORUS ELITE (rev. 1.x) Power supply - Corsair HX750 For storage - 970 evo plus 1tb RAM - 16GB of Fury Beast 3600MHZ
You're checking if you're using the new PSU's power cables or if you're repurposing the existing ones.
