PC experiencing random crashes and the EZ Debug indicator activating.
I own a MSI B650 WiFi motherboard with a Ryzen 5 7600 CPU. There are two 16GB DDR5 RAM sticks installed at 6000mhz cl36. The BIOS version appears to be from December. Installation started without issues, everything functioning properly. After some days of use, I've observed occasional freezes or crashes when the PC is idle, in sleep mode, or during reboot attempts. When I force shut down, it fails to POST and the EZ Debug indicators turn red on the CPU and orange on the DRAM. Sometimes this happens if I try to restart. After unplugging and replugging the power supply, the issue resolves, followed by memory training and a successful boot. It seems more likely when I'm not working at the desk. The rest of the system operates normally. I've turned off EXPO temporarily in case it's contributing to the problem, loosened the CPU cooler, reinserted the RAM, and verified all cables are securely connected. The memory diagnostic test showed no errors. After the final crash, the system booted with an unexpected date (May 2061). I've replaced the CMOS battery and will monitor if the issue recurs. Any suggestions? I'm hesitant to update the BIOS due to the risk of damaging the PC, but I'll proceed if necessary. I could also try using a single RAM stick to isolate the problem. I'm unsure how to consistently reproduce the issue, so I'm waiting to see what happens without using the machine. Thank you in advance.
